Race You to Breakfast

Story Review
Race You to Breakfast by Vivienne Joseph

This story is about the author named Viviene going on a hot air balloon ride in Australia. The balloon needed hot air to make it go up. It made a deafening noise when the burners were turned on to heat the air the air in the balloon.
When the balloon was up in the air, the pilot had to bring it down because the gas canister was faulty. The balloon landed in a ditch when it came down. It had to be rescued from the ditch,

The characters in this article are Viviene the author, Richard the Pilot and the other passengers. I enjoyed reading this article because I have learnt how a hot air balloon goes up and comes down.

Kia ora Nga,
It was reading your review about the hot air balloon ride. Have you ever seen a hot air balloon? When I lived in Hamilton, one flew over my house one morning, and I was able to hear the noise the burners made as it flew over - it was loud!
Cheers, Tsana (Karl & Robin's mum)
